The Challenge

A European-based HR and payroll solutions provider sought to modernise and standardise its operations and technology infrastructure. The business managed a complex network of legacy systems across multiple regions and service sectors, leading to inefficiencies and challenges in scalability.

The Solution

Kimble (now Kantata) introduced Garwood to our client to help assess the business’ readiness for transformation. Our role was to evaluate the existing operational landscape, identify key areas for improvement and highlight potential risks that could impact the implementation.

Over a four-week period, we conducted a structured assessment, working closely with senior subject matter experts across the organisation. This process included:

  • Operating model canvas workshops to map existing workflows and pain points
  • A detailed review of business processes and supporting systems
  • An independent PSA readiness assessment to ensure objective evaluation

 

By applying our proven methodology, we established a clear framework for the company’s transformation, supporting an efficient, structured, fixed-price approach to implementation.

The Result

Following Garwood’s assessment and preparatory work, the business emerged with a well-defined roadmap for implementing the PSA solution. With a structured plan in place, the company was positioned to move forward with minimal disruption to its operations while mitigating risks associated with system integration.
